Privacy Policy

• Commissioners (account holders): your email address, used to sign in via magic link or Google/Apple sign-in. We receive your email and basic profile from those providers only to authenticate you.
• Players (no account):the name and email you enter to join a pool, and an optional mobile number. These are visible only to your pool's commissioner — never to other players. We use a session cookie to remember you on your device.
• Pool activity: the picks, entries, and standings you create while using the service.
• Payments (commissioners only): subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We do not process any player money — buy-ins and prizes are arranged off-platform between a commissioner and their players.
• Usage analytics: we count page views with a first-party, cookieless method (an anonymous, daily-rotating hash) to understand traffic. It is not used to identify you and is not shared.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (commissioner sessions and player device sessions). Our own analytics does not use cookies. We display ads across the site through Google AdSense, which uses cookies as described below.

We show ads served by Google AdSense across our site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. For more, see Google's advertising policies.

To run the service: authenticate commissioners, let players join and make picks, compute standings, send pool-related and account email, process commissioner subscriptions, measure traffic, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (commissioner payments), Resend (email delivery), Netlify (hosting), and Google (advertising). We may disclose information if required by law.

• Unsubscribe from pick reminders and recaps using the link in those emails.
• Opt out of personalized ads via the links in the Advertising section above.
• Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@pickembuilder.com.

We keep information for as long as needed to run the service, then delete it on request. We use reputable providers and standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above when we do. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
